Warm and inviting atmosphere

Fantastic, plentiful breakfast with top quality coffee from the Barista machine, had delicious food. Cozy, favourable location in the downstairs lounge area. And not far from Windsor castle & Heathrow airport as well as Slough.

The hotel's position was incredible, very close to pub and Windsor Castle. The staff was efficient, good services.

Overall it was an incredible stay of 3 night.

Charming decor made for a nice atmosphere, but the room was cold and noisy.

Thanks all for a real good stay of 3 night. Really enjoyed the historic-style building and well decorated room with spacious bathroom. Its staff was fantastic friendly and efficient. The location was absolutely perfect, to the transport links into London and the interior design was nice. Was a nice place for weekend.

I really appreciated the charming character of this place, and it's just a short stroll to Ye Old George pub and beautiful Ditton Park, making it perfect.

The building's character is excellent, with its rich history dating back to 1106. My room had a comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom with a great shower. Really enjoyed the cleanliness and extra toiletries provided. The on-site restaurant offered quality meals, especially the breakfast, which I liked. Unfortunately, my room faced the street, so noise from traffic was an issue. I could hear the vehicles passing frequently, especially larger ones that shook the room a bit. Another downside was that the heating wasn't ideal. Each day had its charm, but noise and temperature control could improve my experience.

Charming yet old, this hotel offers a unique character in its rooms was good. The staff's helpfulness added to the positive experience, and the historical significance of the pub was fascinating. While the location was merely convenient for my early flight, the garden provided a pleasant spot to watch planes land. Food options looked promising, although I didn't get the chance to sample them .

It was just a well-suited match for a brief pit stop in Slough with great value. The room wasvery comfy and tidy for our short stay. If you're a light sleeper, consider requesting a quieter room away from the smoking area.

Great Alternative for Couples Looking for History

The staff was friendly, they even offered us some great local beers on tap.

The ostrich inn is super cool and has a ton of character. The staff were really nice and helped us out with some room changes. Having a drink in the bar area was fun, and the food looked delish even if we didn't dine there. Our double room was cozy n clean. The history of the place is fascinating, we still talk about it! The noise from the airplanes was barely noticeable and didn't bother us at all.

the parking situation took a bit to sort out and our bed was not comfy at all, made it hard to sleep well.

We enjoyed a cozy night at this historic inn. The atmosphere was enchanting with friendly staff who recommended the very nice roast lamb, a must-try! I appreciated the easy access to local attractions, though a quick chat with staff during dinner could enhance service. Definitely coming back!

The room was nicely updated with cozy carpets and a tv for entertainment. Our bathroom was super clean with a great shower. The pub had a lively atmosphere and served delicious food like roast lamb and steak pie. Staff were super friendly and even sorted us a taxi.
